Given it's seemingly where we're heading: Stick with Pelle or 18 months of Moyes?
Pellegrini - relegation here we come

Moyes - backwards step to a footballing relic not remotely respected by the squad previously

Talk about rock and a hard place.

Surely they should be all out for the out of work Nico Kovac?

Looks increasingly like it's going to be Moyes ~ and years more dull football in the wilderness for us

The club is like a drunk, stumbling from one disaster into another, there is a common denominator.

If you think that bandit Sullivan Sr is bad, the kids would be twice as bad if they ever got their hands on the club.

hopefully relegation will be our friend

Either that or it’ll be the same old shit until the Daves are dead and then more of the same for years and years under junior

Yeah, it was when Moyes was at Everton and they smashed West Ham

Can we do something with this quote? Like, stick it in the site header or on a welcome page or something? This is far too magnificent to simply be allowed to die.

Moyes scraped survival with turgid, tedious football and an astonishingly weak win percentage.
Pellegrini has done little better in the long run.
Either would’ve been sacked by any decent club.
But we aren’t. We are a joke, run by two conmen and their loopy, comic relief.
Until they go, it doesn’t matter who manages. They’ll get one decent window and the rest will be penny pinching, freebies and never weres.

Re: Given it's seemingly where we're heading: Stick with Pelle or 18 months of Moyes?
As far as I'm concerned Moyes didnt keep us up. He didnt stop us conceding goals after all.

He made one decision (play Arnautovic up top) and found a way to harness that one players special attributes. Whilst Id acknowledge that was an achievement, it doesnt say much for his overall managerial prowess.

So going to Moyes cap in hand puts all the power dynamic in his hands which cant be the way to position yourselves in any organisation.

Besides if I was Moyes I'd string us along for a few weeks then tell us to fuck off as payback for how he perceives he was treated (and maybe rightly so).

Moyes would basically be the Dildos modern day McCleish equivalent.

We'll probably end up with Hughton on a short term deal.

But the bottom line is this all stems from the clubs lack of strategic decision making, so whilst this individual circumstance is somewhat the managers making, the inability to pivot from a managerial failure seamlessly to a better place is squarely the fault of the board and their inability to put a strategy in place. They run the club like a 1980s outfit. Lurching from one extreme to another, tacticalnshort termism again and again.

We need a new manager for sure, but the buck stops at the very top and the charlatans there need hounding from the club.

Don’t get why so much hate towards moyes. He steadied the sinking ship last time around and he would do it again. Pearce as number 2 .

Rather relegation, Moyes would be dreadful as its a no win situation.
He keeps us up and we are stuck with him or we get relegated and are either stuck with him or relegated anyway.
Rather take a chance with new signings and hope for better in Summer

The club (not the supporters) need and deserve a dose of Moyes. Let it be so.

Re: Given it's seemingly where we're heading: Stick with Pelle or 18 months of Moyes?
I would take Moyes, think at least he would keep us in the PL, wouldnt be a forward step but think a reality check is needed, under the current ownership and management West Ham are NOT going to the next level, mid table mediocrity is as best we can hope for, and Moyes would deliver that IMO.

I reckon If they sacked him at half time and put the actual Audrey Roberts in the dugout nobody would have noticed and we may have even scraped a point.
